Brittany Broderie is group of Anglo-French embroiderers living in and around Central Brittany. We work in all textile art techniques; embroidery by hand and machine, patchwork,, weaving, spinning, knitting, crochet and felt work. We normally meet once a month at La Salle du Cercle Celtique in Mur de Bretagne. Brittany Broderie is a registered association. We have been helped through the process of registration by staff at the Mairie in Mur de Bretagne.
We are very excited about holding our first exhibition of our work and are delighted that the artist Peter Johnson is allowing us to hold the expo at his atelier in Caurel. Along side the exhibition of our general work we are holding a competition for those members who wish to join in. The subject of the competition is ‘Trees’. The competition will be judged on the afternoon of 27th October 2007.
